A male was killed in a vehicle vs. pedestrian collision, prompting officials to urge motorists to avoid southbound and northbound Van Buren Boulevard at Bellegrave Avenue in Jurupa Valley late Saturday night.
The incident “closed southbound & northbound Van Buren Blvd., and will require a detour,” the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement.
“At this time drugs/alcohol do not appear to be a factor in this incident,” the statement said.
